I am trying to get some input on how other Inventory Direct users might utilize transfer of inventory to specific closets they have created. Our University has about 13 Custodial closets and 1 single Custodial warehouse. Every week we do a count of what inventory is in each closet, then transfer inventory from the custodial warehouse to each closet weekly. I am finding out this can cause allot of typo's and mini mistakes throughout the process. What are other users doing regarding custodial inventory? Would it be good practice to just issue inventory straight out of the Custodial warehouse, and keep the same number of inventory in the closets at all times? Please any insight would be valuable to me. Thank you.
