We are help desk specialists at a community college. We use ITDirect to manage IT requests for students and staff. We are wondering if it might be possible to revise the current “Short Incident Form” so that we may pull up an existing incident by its ID number and view it in the short incident format, in addition, if the "Journal Notes" field could be added on the short incident form too please? We use Journal notes to enter confidential information such as student ID numbers, and because Journal Notes is not an option on the short incident form, we are unable to use the short incident form to create an ITDirect incident. However, if these changes were made to the Short Incident Form, it would be a great time saver for us – not only in creating new incidents, but updating existing incidents as well.
