I realize School Dude may never change their program to satisfy any complaint, but sometimes a little change in the program can bring about a lot of positive feedback as well as more customers.
So..... I'm asking the customers of School Dude this...
Why does School Dude give more KPI points when a facility sends in a work request vs. a maintenance tech looking for potential problems / issues in a school? It just seems backwards to me!
I ask my maintenance personnel look for potential problems in a school and call them in to me for a work request. I do not rely on the schools custodians, teachers, and office staff to wait on something to break! Having a great PM program is important, but what is more important is having a maintenance staff who doesn’t rely on a PM to repair problems.
While Preventive Maintenance is important, I feel the system should give School Dude customers KPI points to a Maintenance Department who has a healthy work ethic vs. a Maintenance Department who waits for problems / issues to be called in by the schools staff. A schools staff sole responsibility should be focused on the STUDENTS not looking for problems / issues!
A wishful idea for School Dude.... Create another KPI point system for work created by Maintenance Department!!!
