I’m the collective knowledge embodied in all of you, our SchoolDude clients! You are more than just dudes and dudettes. You are valued members of the SchoolDude team. As for me, I’m your mascot! I represent the collection of experiences and knowledge that you, our clients have gained in managing their institution’s operations. I’m a symbol that ensures that the knowledge will be shared with those who will follow you. The symbol of keeping the faith, staying the course, and never ever quitting.

On Tuesday, our webinar focused on how to Push ITDirect Further with MySchoolBuilding, but remember, this time-saving solution is included with enrollment on every SchoolDude product. MySchoolBuilding (MSB) is a one-stop shop where end-users can submit requests through a single web-based portal. MSB end-users can view past requests and receive automated email notifications containing updates on the status of pending requests. Information submitted through MSB provides your department with a comprehensive view of service requests, facilitating more detailed reports to justify budget and staffing needs. Utilizing MSB can increase accountability, service levels and transparency within your service request process.
Need help getting started? Below are some steps to help you roll-out MSB:
Implement one of SchoolDude’s Cloud Solutions, which come with MySchoolBuilding.
Consult with SchoolDude’s award-winning Client Services team to establish an efficient request process. Call SchoolDude at 1.877.868.3833 for legendary support between 8am and 6pm EST Monday-Friday.
Gain support from your stakeholders by:
Writing and distributing a rollout memo.
Creating quick-step guides.
Planning a kickoff party.
Selecting a group of “conscientious requesters.”
Educating end-users on the process and benefits of the MSB page.
Making sure end-users are being honest on their likes and dislikes -- communication is key.
Roll-out the MSB portal using the following tips:
Create an MSB splash page or advertisement on your department’s website.
Make the URL readily available and add the MSB URL on your organization’s website.
Keep the form simple.
Use the introductory paragraph SchoolDude provides.
Administer the satisfaction surveys to your end-users:
Find out what works and what doesn’t work.
Set a benchmark, so you can promote success to stakeholders.
