View Bookings listing consistencies
David- thanks for making these suggestions. In regards to the first point, it sounds like you're describing an Event page and a Schedule page. The View Bookings button only shows up on the Schedule page.
I can see the difference between an Irregular schedule and the Normal and Recurring schedule forms.
You bring up some well thought out points. Thanks again for sharing.
View Bookings within FSDirect is a very helpful tool.
Please take these suggestions into account to make it more user friendly especially in this age of technology.
To access "View Bookings" one has to click on a schedule from the Calendar, and then click on "View Bookings" which is to the right of "Area".
- The "View Bookings" box, depending upon the type of schedule will either be on the first page or if it is not there, one will have to click on "View Event Schedule" and then go to "View Bookings." This inconsistency is bothersome and disappointing.
- The actual box "View Bookings" is different in the 2 scenarios listed above. Can they not look the same so the user knows what they're looking for. If I properly understand it, the formatting when the schedule is irregular is different than other boxes and my preferred version (that is if you were to ask me!). Technology is speed and consistency.
- The "View Bookings" list is a list of a month's worth of activities. Accessing it from a single schedule seems very odd and I would naturally look for it to be amongst the Shortcuts for the overall month or possibly amongst the "Actions."
- Lastly could the list have another field listing the "Schedule ID."
Making "View Bookings" consistent and more user friendly I feel makes for an even better product. Thank you.
