Setup Completed By time field requested
Thanks for the great idea! I've opened it up for voting. What I'd recommend in the meantime is that you have your users enter that information in the service description field next to the Event Setup option under the Setup Requirements. You could also create a Question that asks if they have entered that information and make it required, so they can't skip over it. If the information isn't entered, you could refrain from approving the request until they enter it.
To create a Question, click on Questions under the Information & Analysis section on the right-hand side of your Home page. Click Add a New Question and enter the details. I would make it required and set it to Yes/No with no default. This will force them to acknowledge that the information needs to be entered and they have to confirm that they've done it.
I would very much like to see a "Setup Completed by" time field.
Setup begin is just that, when setup can begin and Event begin is that, when the event begins. But when must the setup be completed? 5 minutes before the event? 15? 30? an hour?
For many setups you can't assume what that time is and a field would not only make it easier but would leave out any room for assumptions or "I didn't think about it" or "I didn't think it was important to include."
This is causing a lot of challenges at our school and this field would help everyone including the person requesting the event to know that it will be ready when they want it to be along with maintenance and others so there's no question as to when the setup needs to be done.
