In ITDirect - Format the field Actual Completion Date as date and time. Currently this field is formatted as date only. After exporting searches to Excel the fields Created On Date; Incident Date, Last Status Change Date are all formatted as date and time. I calculate the number of work days the ticket is open, using the Actual Completion Date and Created On Date fields. If the ticket is opened and closed the same day, the calculation gives a negative result because the Actual Completion Date field does not have the time stamp of when the ticket is closed.
