Make Setup Requirements Mandatory in FSDirect
Thanks for your suggestion Charles! I'm going to open this up for voting.
I will also suggest using Questions to help resolve this problem. From your homepage, click on the Questions link on the right side of the page. On the next page you can create a question and mark it required so the requesters will have to physically select 'yes' or 'no' for setup requirements. This should resolve the issue of those fields not being properly filled out.
This occurs often enough that it has become a bit of an issue. When a requester enters an event that requires Maintenance or IT services, it is common for them to overlook those sections. This results in complaints that preparations were not completed and/or they have to rush around to get the needed requirements taken care of. This happens even with those trained in how to properly enter a request. Adding a required yes or no option to setup requirements, or requiring that one selection be made, would at least show that they need to provide more information. This would also allow us to show, especially if "No" is marked, that they did not enter all their needs if a complaint arises.
