Thanks for posting this idea!
I do want to make sure you know about some options that you currently have in the application. On the equipment page you could add the information into the Notes field, and then check the box to print that information on the work order. Also, the piece of equipment does have the ability to have a document attached. Lastly, there is also a link on the equipment page where you could see all the Work Orders associated with that piece.
