Hi David, thanks for the great idea! There are a couple of options when it comes to blocking off rooms/locations. One option is to create an Organization Calendar Event item to block off the location, though this will still allow other users to submit a schedule. It would then become an internal process to decline it and let the user know why it was declined. The other option is to mark the rooms as not available for use; this will remove the option to select this room on a new schedule request while maintenance is being done. Once the maintenance has been completed, you can make the room available again!
