Kent was the Founder and CEO of Applied Computer Technologies (ACT). After ACT was acquired by CP&L, he became the CEO of Strategic Resource Solutions (SRS), which specialized in energy conservation and facility management as the non-regulated subsidiary of Carolina Power and Light, now Progress Energy. With Lee Prevost, Kent founded SchoolDude in 1999 and started the journey of providing educational administrators with powerful and innovative solutions for operations management .

Lee is the co-founder of SchoolDude and has years of experience working in the educational operations industry. Before founding SchoolDude, Lee worked for Applied Computer Technologies (ACT) and Honeywell Home and Building Controls, providing energy and control solutions for education clients. Along with Kent Hudson, Lee saw the opportunity to revolutionize educational operations management by using the power of the Internet. Together, they founded SchoolDude in 1999.

Lynn’s 30 years of technology experience spans various industries, including inventory and work order management, insurance, government, and non-profit organizations Her passion is to design applications that help the problem solvers get issues resolved faster, with high quality, and accountability that are easy to use. Lynn leads and supports a globally-based technology team consisting of 90+ members serving as product designers, managers, directors, project managers, web developers, and system support engineers. Before joining SchoolDude, Lynn was Managing Director of Technology at Strategic Resource Solutions (SRS). Prior to SRS, she served as a senior project manager and developer with Applied Computer Technologies (ACT). She has a BS in Management from University of Maryland University College, an AS in computer programming from Wake Technical Community College and is currently working on a certification in HCI (human computer interaction) with the University of Iowa.

Scott is one of the original members of the SchoolDude team. Previously, Scott was the National Sales Director for Applied Computer Technologies (ACT). At SchoolDude, Scott and his team interact with educational institutions in all 50 states, Canada and Australia to help them improve the learning environment with web solutions built specifically for education professionals. Scott has been a featured speaker at numerous national and state industry conferences, tradeshows and events.

Joan has dedicated her career to providing educational clients with the highest level of service and support. Joan previously held the position of Manager of Client Services for Applied Computer Technologies (ACT), where she managed the service teams. At SchoolDude, Joan manages the Client Service Center, including all technical support and product training. The Client Service team is responsible for maintaining SchoolDude’s award-winning customer service and constantly strives to improve our 97% client satisfaction rating.
